This instrument is a full double French horn in F/B♭, manufactured as a model H379 by the historic Holton company. While its exact year of production remains unknown, the horn represents one of the industry's most dependable and widely used professional layout configurations. It played a pivotal role in my own musical journey; after starting out on an old B♭ single horn, I quickly decided that I wanted to transition to a full double horn to expand my range and tonal capabilities, which led me to acquire this H379. It proudly served as my primary, everyday instrument for my entire first year of playing before it was eventually retired in favor of another model. Because it was no longer being used and deserved to be played, I thought it would be best to sell it to a new owner, though its place as my first true double horn remains documented here as a key milestone in my collection.
