Persy "Persyline 8" C/B♭

This intriguing instrument is a 'Persyline' C-trumpet manufactured by the Belgian workshop Persy, bearing serial number 2028. While trumpets are generally not the primary focus of my collection, the unusual extra tubing visible on this horn was simply too fascinating to pass up. It turned out to be a specialized B♭ extension, effectively making this instrument two trumpets in one.

The trumpet arrived in excellent structural condition, save for a minor air leak at the base of the main water key. Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that a previous owner had crudely glued the outlet pipe onto the assembly. I have since properly soldered the component back into place, fully sealing the leak. Today, this unique dual-key trumpet plays beautifully and with remarkable ease.
