Guichard (<1855)

This is an Ophicleide in Bb, made by Guichard, Breveté a Paris. Probably before 1855. The company was renamed after Guichard sold it in 1845, but there is some evidence, that the name Guichard was used until as late as 1855.

It had many cracks, some all the way through, but after repairs it plays again.
