About the maker:
This is a Swingplanck Pocket Trumpet, probably made around 1987. It was a gimmick gift I got as a teen for my birthday in the early 1990's. It does play, but construction quality isn't very good, some parts came off and have been soldered back.
I felt this wasn't a particulary interesting or beautiful item in my collection, so I sold it.
