This E♭ tenor horn is a premium "Sovereign 950" model manufactured by the legendary British firm Besson in 1993, as verified by its serial number 797978. Because this specific model stands as the definitive, quintessential horn utilized across the British brass band movement, I explicitly use the British nomenclature "Tenor Horn" rather than the American term Alto Horn to respect its cultural and musical heritage. This particular instrument was preserved in immaculate, "as new" condition, showing virtually no signs of historical wear. Because it was in such pristine playing shape and I simply did not perform on it often enough to justify keeping it stored away, I decided it deserved to go to a dedicated musician who would truly play and appreciate its elite acoustic qualities.
