Boosey & Co. "Solbron" (1921)

This instrument is a classic E♭ Tenor Horn—following the traditional British nomenclature—manufactured by the renowned maker Boosey & Co. in 1921. It was originally built in the historical High Pitch standard, but the main tuning slide has since been replaced with a significantly longer custom slide, successfully adapting the horn to play in modern Low Pitch.

While the body proudly displays several historical repair patches and minor dents from a lifetime of use, the instrument has been lovingly maintained and still plays very well today.
